Artwork Requirements

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

Award Creations is PC Based; we use many software programs, but prefer
(listed Below):

Requirements for Sublimation:

Vector base Image prefered. (CMYK Full Color)
Acceptable: JPEG Minimum of 300DPI at the size of the Final product. (CMYK Full Color)

Requirements for Laser / Rotary Engraving:

Camera Ready ArtworkMinimum 300 D.P.I. resolution. Outlines should be 1 point or larger.
Preferred file formats1. CorelDraw x4 (or any lower version) Saved in CDR or EPS format. 

CorelDrawX4 • PhotoShop 9.0, • Adobe Illustrator 9,

1. Corel Draw X4 (.cdr, .eps)

2. Adobe Illustrator  (.ai, .psd, .eps (we prefer PC format)
We will try to use your Mac Formated Files, but they must be saved uncompressed.
(No Guarentee of compatability)

Artwork in Microsoft Word format is not acceptable.
Images copied from web pages are typicall too low a resolution to be used as workable art.
PDF files created as vector art may be usable. Send your File and we will let you know if it works.

BLACK & WHITE

Electronic ArtworkFiles (Images / logos) should be Minimum 300 D.P.I. BLACK & WHITE (no halftones).  
We have many fonts, If you need to send us your fonts' Send as outlines or curves.

Fonts

A faxed or E-mailed copy of artwork (JPEG) for visual reference will help us be certain that artwork opened matches what was originally created.

Often programs substitute fonts if the exact original font is not installed on our system.

File CompressionFiles can be compressed with Winzip. Generally uncompressed files are preferred.  Macintosh compression formats are not supported.

Unacceptable Artwork; Faxes, Color Letterheads, Photocopies, Embossed imprints, Etc.

Additional Art ChargesComplex pieces or artwork of poor quality may require additional art charges to bring artwork to a sufficient quality, or size for final production.
